A few game sizes have been revealed by the Japanese Nintendo website, and all we have to say is… If you’re going digital for the Switch, you’re going to need a bigger boat….
You can view the list below:
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 13.4 GB
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 8.00 GB
- Puyo Puyo Tetris – 1.09 GB
- Disgaea 5 – 5.92 GB
- Snipperclips – 1.60 GB
- I Am Setsuna – 1.40 GB
- Dragon Quest Heroes I & II – 32.00 GB
- Nobunaga’s Ambition – 5.00 GB
As you can see from the information above, Dragon Quest alone takes up 32gb and seems as the system will take some memory up, you’re going to need a new SD card just for that.
The other file sizes aren’t to bad, but still after a couple of games you’re going to need extra memory. Does this effect whether your going to go digital or retail for the Switch?
I made the desicion that personally I would go retail for the switch, the game cartridges are small enough to get a little case for them, and I know there are going to be accessories available for this. Plus, it will probably be cheaper.
What do you think of the game sizes?
