Bethesda has revealed via a blog post that Sony has denied then access to allow mods for Fallout 4 and the remastered Skyrim.

Bethesda has been working for months with Sony to try and get user made mods on the PS4 version of Fallout 4.

However it now looks like those talks have finished and Sony aren’t allowing the mods to be placed on there system.

Bethesda did go on to say:

Like you, we are disappointed by Sony’s decision given the considerable time and effort we have put into this project, and the amount of time our fans have waited for mod support to arrive. We consider this an important initiative and we hope to find other ways user mods can be available for our PlayStation audience. However, until Sony will allow us to offer proper mod support for PS4, that content for Fallout 4 and Skyrim on PlayStation 4 will not be available.

Mods are currently available on Xbox One, but for me this is another poor decision from Sony, and this is something that fans have been waiting for, for a while now.

Could this see people move over from PS4 to Xbox One?

I love reviewing games, I love the fact that I get to play games that most of the times I wouldn’t have considered playing.
